I don't blame you, I'm not that different, actually. If I were in your shoes and saw and heard what you did, I would most likely have the same opinion.

This is what I call "professional stupidity", which happens to me too. It is when in our profession, in that we have deep understanding and knowledge of, we have critical thinking and nobody can bullshit us, or start calling names and get away with that. But in other aspects of life we tend to trust without much thought.

Somebody shows you that picture and alone with that negative characterization and that is all you need to form an opinion. They do it daily and you are a believer now. Or do you have doubts now? Apparently...

And so you are prepared to accept that more money has to be spent on fighting something and it is a good excuse for why living standards are going down. I merely say it is not in your own interest. And I think we are all losing, regardless who is "winner" or "loser", except few...

I saw a pigeon today. I asked it "Why do you fly". Then it offered me an icecream.

Not sure even you could realistically class him as a socialist, unless you're equating socialism to that nice Mr Hitler's party 🤔
Socialists are just watered down communists, with some only a short distance from being full fledged commis...they think they're not but their ideals are very much fundamentally along the same lines in supporting an ideology which inevitably leads to subjugation and repression of those people who don't agree with their ideological thinking.

Fascist are very similar to socialists/communists and vise versa in that they each vilify those who they see as the enemy of their ideology and do everything in their power to silence views opposed to their own.
This is clearly evident when anyone dares to speak out about the harm that is clearly being done to this country by the lack of control of immigration which if left unchecked will lead to the eventual breakdown of the British society and it customs as we know it.

It needs a full and open debate and even a referendum if necessary on the matter as it's the future of those already living here who will be or are being most affected.

However as soon as anyone dares to mention the negatives of such as immigrants and immigration the race cards are wheeled out and they're immediately branded as racists when only an absolute woke fool would fail to recognise that there are serious issues. It's got nothing to do with racism, it's to do with common sense and the welfare of the people already living here and shouldn't even be an issue!
Other than illegal migration I have absolutely no issues with migration, on the contrary it would be stupid to stop it completely but it needs to be controlled in such a way that it benefits the people of the UK.

Unfortunately UK citizens are just not being allowed to air their valid concerns and as a result I can see a potential rise in far right political views coming to the fore as they are in the rest of Europe right now so if the sensible ones in this country don't want that to happen here then they need to make a stand against the people who would destroy our nation from within with their woke ignorance and stupidity.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with putting Britain and British people first and if certain people don't like that approach then they should go elsewhere as the country is better off without them.

A mild version of communism would be much better for the climate and enviroment as it removes a lot of the materialism we have in the west. Do we really need to have so much choice with everything ?

Don't you think materialism is fuelled by endless advertising and one click shopping. Not sure that it has anything to do with politics or ideology. But I agree we have too many choices in many things (just look in the supermarkets at for example endless arrays of different hams) and we pay a price for that.

Depends on your definition of socialism. Soviet Russia, Nazi Germany, terrible twins but doing things slightly differently.

Yes, that Corbyn was planning on prison camps, a gulag archipelago in remote corners of the UK, like Wales.

I can't disagree with that. There is far too much emphasis on materialism which is the underlying problem. I've never suffered the compunction to acquire all the latest gadgetry as many do.
However it's only a Western issue at present but it will also become a further problem as the developing nations go through the same stages of materialism and its procurement as the West has done.

If one cares to take a look at the linked 2022 table below showing the emissions by all of the world's nations, the UK ranks at a mere #17 in the table with just 0.88% of world output. Of course we could get that figure lower but at what cost to the nation if it will make little or no difference in the grand scheme of things which arguably it won't unless every nation is singing from the same hymn sheet which is just not going to happen!

I consider myself environmentally aware and I'm all for cutting down on atmospheric and biospheric pollution in the UK and elsewhere in the world but some of the environmental proposals for reducing pollution in the UK are going to come at great costs to the British people and which will undoubtedly disadvantage our nation's industry and economy going forward. The phrase diminishing returns comes it the equation.

The top eight countries by emissions output between them contribute over 65% of the world's total output which is 74 times more than the UK's total output.
Unless the those nations which produce the majority of emissions are persuaded to reduce proportionately their emissions too, then whatever the UK does will barely register in the grand scheme of things but could have detrimental consequences for the rest of this century and beyond.

The UK simply can't save the world unilaterally no matter what the environmentalists think. Yes it can set examples but unless other's follow suit then we will just harm our economy while theirs benefits.
Unfortunately global warming has been used for too long as an excuse by unethical governments to raise yet more money in taxes but sooner or later it will backfire on them.
