Hey all,

I've been thrown out of the house whilst SWMBO rearranges all the furniture and does frilly housey things. Good excuse yesterday to drag everything except the TS out into the garden and start this years spring clean. Yesterday got the plasterboard finished on the walls to finally cover the insulation, and rearranging and finding homes for everything.

Anyway, as a follower of this forum for many years I was thinking it would be good if people might post some workshop pics, a before and after type topic. I've seen loads of workshop builds, but it would be good to see what they look like now they've been used. I'll post mine as soon as I get everything back in place, hopefully today.

Just a thought.

Forgive the focus on the new pics, have a rubbish camera on my new phone.

Nice workshop - full,but nice :D

Amazing how much brighter something as simple as white walls make everything look, isn't it.

It's 12 ft wide and 18ft long. The white walls and a window are highly recommended! As for being full, the pictures don't do it justice. There's actually quite a lot of space to move around inside. Also on hot days the router table, and if necessary the t/s, can be wheeled outside giving loads of space.

I found this pic of my garage the way it was a few weeks ago before I tidied it up. It is a similar size to the OP's 17'x12'. It ended up being a dumping ground for things that we needed to get rid off in the house (no one wants a 19" CRT monitor anymore!).

I have posted this picture in another thread here but for the sake of an after pic, this is how it looks now..

In the next few weeks the bike and garden tools on the left hand side will also be gone.

Bliss.

Good workshop, like the white painted walls and ceiling. I have the ceiling painted white in mine which makes a difference as it reflects a lot of light back into the 'shop.
