Talking of stamps, RM issue £0.15 1/2p & £0.20 1/2p stamps (that I know of), why, since 1/2pence are no longer currency?

But, they were issued in 1982 and 1984, when there were 1/2p coins. Why did they issue a 3d stamp when there are no 3d coins any more? Because there were at the time of issue.

Yes, Phil that was the conclusion I came to ,'old stock'. Whomever sent them to me must have been having a clear-out. They've now gone to Sweden.
