Henger woes

Today went to the German henger supplier and they do sell individual tuff bolts, and they ship to the UK. So I've ordered two plus a range of different types of scroll blades to try, some I've never seen before totally different like a series of vee,s all down the blade, and some that have the backs rounded to aid tight curves. And it does look like WF, education has gone under or there website is down.

Just had a quick look at those blades, and they are ELFE machine,
Manufacturer by Josef Haunstetter, never seen anything like them

Probably just a website update or something earlier it just kept timing out and wouldn't open, but like you it's working okay now.

Nope I'd had my morning tablets, and spell check was urking fur once

They run via cloudflare which was silently banning / blocking a lot of people trying to reach things a few days ago , GEO fencing acting up. Cloudflare actually went "unsilent" on me and told me it was and then was not blocking me.Normally hegner.co.uk would block me ..and for a short time ( after reading this thread ) it didn't , then it did, then open, now solid block. wf-education.com was up for me all the time..But after reading this thread ( despite not owning a Hegner ) I phoned Hegner France to ask had the UK end shut down..they thought that they would have heard were that the case as each country has it's own exclusive zone..they asked Hegner head office..The french office has just replied via email to me, forwarded directly the reply that they got from Hegner head office..Gist of it being ..yes ..Hegner UK and Ireland is existent and is wf-education.com ..BTW..I looked at both sites..France has different designations for some of the sawmodels, re variators etc and appears to be more expensive than wf-education..but France has more spares..The square ended nuts are 6 for €20.00 plus post..They can't sell to UK without getting in trouble with Hegner head office ( the french distributor is actually linked to Bordet ..with whom they share office, warehouse and phone ) Bordet are a well known woodworking and tool suppliers here.
