Bit of a joke really, freedom of speech anyone? No warning, conversation in full flow, and annoyingly some interesting reading to be had. Then it just disappears.

Not the first time it's happened. Mods' prerogative to be fair, but still somewhat annoying.

I’m not aware that you have to be a paying member to participate in the sewer of Off-topic2. Seems you are automatically enrolled if you subscribe but can ask to be added if you so desire.

Agree with your central point Adrian; if I might make a slight correction? The registered address of Mr. K. Urban, and presumably, one Angie Dovetail, is well north of Panama.

No. It specifically states that it is available to supporting members only. Look at the forum list and you will see. My understanding is that it is for unsavoury threads and I see no reason to pay for that. Personal choice.

It has changed then from when it was introduced. I started seeing post from OT2 a while back and even mentioned it to the mods as I thought it in error. I’d never asked to join.
