Hinges for in-frame kitchen

Hi everyone - first post.....be gentle with me

I've had the (mis)-fortune of finding myself trying to put together an in-frame kitchen that came without hinges.....I've wondered through a few showrooms to see what they do and basically it seems I need some sort of deep mounting plate for the standard concealed hinges, but I'm at a total loss on where to get them - anyone have any ideas?

A lot will depend on whether the face frame overhangs the carcase side or not.

If not then just a cranked arm on standard plates will be OK.

If there is an overhang then you need an 18mm spacing mounting plate (woodfit No 175H9190.22) and either an overlap/duel hinge or inset hinge depending on the overhang.

If you are not sure let us know how much the frame overhangs the carcase and I can give you a suitable combination.

Jasonb - the frame has an overhang of 17mm if i've calculated correctly - i'll have to have another measure up to be sure - i think the spacing mounting plate is the way to go - thanks for the product number - i've ordered a couple to test out.

If its 17mm then you will need the 18mm plate I suggested above and a cranked "inset" hinge, woodfit No 71T9750. There is a couple of mm adjustment either way and a bit more can be had by where you position the hole in relation to the edge of the door.
