I'm planning to fit 600x600mm led light panels to illuminate my workshop, can anyone recommend a suppliers or place to order decent 4000k units from?

I agree that panels are amazing compared with strips. Worth checking the CRI as well. I got some recently that were 95+ and some that were the standard 80+. The difference is quite noticeable.

I have 6,000K baton light fixtures in my shop and they are closer to noon day sun. The only time I notice anything approaching blue is when there is snow on the ground and the light is reflecting off it at night.

Right now they are £20 a panel in screwfix. They also look to be colour temp selectable as the spec gives 3 colour temps. Dont think you can go wrong and have a 4 year guarantee

I have them, they’re brilliant. Got mine from Toolstation. £20 each. I went for the 6500k version. As inspector said it’s like working in sunlight. Colours look right under these. I find the 4000k too blue.

How are you guys mounting the recess panels? Do you have the full grid ceiling, or are you just sticking single panels up?

They also come with hanging kits. I just used screwed support points into the SIP boards I had as the roof and then hung them on wires
