Damn, Caught out at last!

Unfortunately the fuel rods of super enriched, hyper energised, coplanar, bi molecular dog poo that power my home built Trans Dimensional Tool Transmogrifiying Snaffling Machine are getting very low.

This causes occasional ruptures in the Tool Space Continuum which sadly allows the true owners of tools undergoing transmogrification (ie theft) to have a few seconds to reclaim them before they become lost (ie MINE!!!) forever.

I am currently working on a severe modification to the memory loss module that accompanies these spatial events so that in future not only will sufferers not know where they put their items, they will forget why they were looking for them in the first place; get really upset and imagine psychotically that their Axminster accounts have been closed.

They will then hopefully give up woodworking and take up singing Gregorian chants thus releasing untold torrents of virtually mint Lie Nielsens, (and Sauers in Waka's case) into the boot sales of the country where I shall be WAITING!
After that, world domination will be a cinch.....

It's pencils for me.

I have the same problem!

I can never find one when I need one - even when I know I only put it 'there' five seconds ago! :x After a few weeks though, they usually turn up - all somehow grouped together in the same place!

:D

I'm not too bad with pencils in the workshop. I have a tub screwed to the wall by the door which is full of pencils, prop pencils, markers, pens, etc If I do misplace a pencil I go straight to the pot and get another. I often find them when clearing up.

I should probably use the same method with safety gear. i.e have a set of glasses and ear defenders on each machine.

I must buy 20-30 pencils a month (99p for 10 at Tesco) yet I can never find one. Where do they all go?

Cheers
Dan

I buy the really cheap ones 50 for a pound, but I never have short pencils, as you say where do they go?

I don't have any problem with lost tools, I just ask my wife and son what they've done with them! :)

Roy.
