Looking for some quick and easy wood finishes for workshop jigs, sleds, wall storage stuff for the shop.

Needs to be a one coat product that can be applied very easy.

I’ve heard wipe on polyurethane is a good option but not sure which one to pick. Miniwax maybe, although a bit spenny?

Can’t say I’ve ever bothered myself, most of them are single use only. One coat is not as good as two, but still, yes water based poly varnish is a doddle, brush it on for ease of doing and it might be dry enough by the time you’ve finished the first coat for the second. A bit of wax on parts that slide on others might help.

Ps, brand for what you want any, cheap as chips will do.
