I was filmed for 3 days in total for BBC1's daytime show, Make it at Market.
Is this the programme where people repurpose antiques and then a dealer gives them a value for it?

It is a very good programme which brings in a business perspective for crafts folks who perhaps don't always have that as their strongest skill...No, it's where you get mentored to improve work flow or output.
Post up a reminder nearer the day, would like to see it.So at great risk of making a complete idiot of myself and having been under a non-disclosure agreement since the summer I can now start telling people that last summer I was filmed for 3 days in total for BBC1's daytime show, Make it at Market.
I am slightly concerned at the angle that may be taken about a finish I was using (100% food safe varnish), a piece I had completed was subbed for one not quite done (I thought it was for background only, but the surface was mentioned) , and as I had a lot going on in family life at the time I barely sold anything in the time frame BUT it was an experience, time will tell and If i get a few weeks solid work out of it making stuff it will be worth it.
If you watch it, BBC1 Thursday 13 march, please be kind!
Yes, season 3 starts on 3rd march and is shown on consecutive weekdays.I guess yours is episode 3, season 2 episode 1 is on Thursday 27th, I've just set the box to record all episodesactually really enjoyed season1
Wolfgang was one of the ‘characters’ who gave the show some interest beyond the woodworking.I'd have kept quiet about that if I were him, or maybe he did and you just outed him?![]()

wouldn't you know it, already bumped a day! Now due to be screened Friday 14th!
And he is, genuinely, just about the nicest man you could hope to meet. Within 1 hour of the show airing, he had over £11,000 of orders and they keep coming in!Only one day to go, pally!
I've only managed to catch one episode so far - a welder who makes astounding sculptures out of eating utensils! Fantastic stuff, and he'd only taken up welding about 10 minutes before!
(That's not true, of course, but it wasn't long!)
Have you been treated to a preview by the production company, or is it going to be a 'surprise'?So today is the day. I am a bit terrified!
Smiths of Loughton in answer to your question.Hey Neil,
Just watched the episode. Huge congrats! The boards look gorgeous and the raised charcuterie board is something I haven’t seen anywhere.
I must say that I was impressed on how natural and charismatic you are on camera. Even during the part where you are talking alone to the camera about bees wax. This personal charisma can be a huge asset to your business if you find ways to leverage it.
Well done, Sir! Good luck and many sales!
Edit: On which shop are you selling your boards?
