Theres nowt wrong with MDF John, just take a look at Brad Naylors work. Personally I like the stuff and once painted who would know what it is? Some nice work there too, thanks for showing us it. :D

Some nice work there John. Looks like you will soon be ready to take on a big project such as workshop doors

John - despite the colour I like the bookcase - not seen a unit that goes around the corner and the curve on the top softens that. Also like the fact that the shelves are not at the same height on each leg.

everything else impresses as well :)

Yeah I like the bookcase too, funny thing is I think the colour is part of
the thing I like about it, it saying look at me I'am diffrent.
I am more intrested in your kitchen annex doors, was that a solid pannel and you routered the grooves in or an other type of construction, My bookcase I made the doors from oak strips, and I am getting some serious warping on the l/h door,I glued some mdf ontop the back to give me some stability, but some time I will need to make an other,
Also I am a big fan of the panny lumix I use a lumix fz5, not that into photography but make my pics look ok, was great value for the price.
Are you into landys as well I see the disco lurking in the background.

thanks for all the comments guys.

mailee, i just don't like all the painting, over than that its ok. At least i will be using proper wood :D from september when i start my furniture making course at Leeds art and design \:D/

Jon, maybe in the next 3 weeks i'll be ready to get on with them (hammer) i dread to think how timber there is to machine in one pair of doors, let alone the other pair

oddsocks, the colour is :-k . also as the shelves being different on each side, the backs are at different depths 8)

Petiegolfer, i never did get any of that :( , i always get feed well when i go there. :) Daughter! its my sisters  , yes she likes it , well she picked the paint

enecosse, yes it does make a bold statment, it wont blend into the background. the kitchen doors are 3/4 mdf with routered groves. thats my sister camera, good little camera, 10x better than mine. i have a defender, my mum has the disco, my defender is always cleaner than the disco
