No problem, think your post was just lacking a little info :D

Your links have been caught by the spam trap, once you've posted a few more times that will disappear

Feel free to tell us a little more about your show and what you're planning to do.

Cheers

Damian

Yes it's a bit off when we get people who just come here to use the site for free advertising. We're more than welcoming if you introduce yourself and join in.

I have asked for the information to be removed, as I don't wish to up set any one person. I was not just using the site for free advertising. I was tiring to inform people about the show

You would like to know me about me that's fine.
I run an manufacturing company, we make and import woodworking tools. We have been attending show for over 15 years sell our products. We was asked by other exhibition to set up and run a show for the benefit of all. This is what we are trying to do.

The show is the last week-end in May.
MAY 29 -31 Opening times 10 - 4

We have invited local clubs to attend
we have a number of different demonstrator at the show
The is not charge for the public to enter or park.
The will be a charity donation box for the air ambulance in the local area.

Kate this appears to be mainly aimed at turners. Is that right? If not, what sort of general woodworking demo's can we expect to see?

If it's advertising a show that we may be interested in I can't see a problem with it - I agree with you when it's companies using it for free advertising for their products. We might all be interested in shows though. Sorry you had a cold reception initially, Kate.

It's still advertising Rob and Charley has paid for adverts here. That's what keeps things running. How do we differentiate between who get's free advertising?

Plus this show has already been discussed by our members here.

The show is for any woodworker yes there are turners who will be demonstrator but there will also be Pyrography, Carving and Finishing demonstrators at the show. There will be arrange of product for sale form different companies like at any woodworking show.

The show is to try and benefit all not just the companies who sell their goods, the cost of show for the public to enter has gone up over the years, the is why there is not entrance cost.

We choose Springfield Event Centre due to is close relation to the outlet and garden centres, so it was not just about woodworkers, but a place for the whole family to attend. There is why on our web site we have got a page what tell you about the local attractions.
