You mean I don't put up with or agree with some of the left wing political garbage and bigotry spouted on here and elsewhere?
This is typical of every open forum I've ever visited where left wingers frequent.
If they don't like someone's views they don't debate they simply target them en-masse with personal attacks and ridicule for holding a different opinion to theirs in order to silence them or make them reluctant to post again.
Every forum it seems has the same type of mentally challenged clan and it drives many decent posters away.

That's a staggering lack of self awareness that you have there.
Serious question - Would you describe yourself as a "decent poster"?

Left learning virtue signallers
pointing out that Trump is a pathological liar and highly corrupt, is just fact

it doesnt make anybody a "left leaning virtue signaller"

Harris ran a shockingly bad campaign. as she did not realise she was in America. "I’m for you, Harris is for they/them" pretty much sums it up
her campaign was perfectly fine, you are just trying the culture war playbook

Ive not see any "they/ them" mentioned by Harris at all in any of her rallies

If you want to rebuild a broken economy ... ... [snip]... ... you need to stabilise global conflict because that is not good for the financial markets and much better than trying to make money from war is just straight commerce, you want all markets open for business.

That's a very fair comment as long as the "other side" of the war will abandon their aims stand down.
If the other side doesn't stand down, then you still have war anyway, and what is more you have a far, far worse situation to deal with - because commerce and financial markets depend, fundamentally, on a "rules based international order" for the underlying stability it requires to operate. If you simply allow/condone/accept the "other side" to bulldoze another sovereign State, you have two separate issues. First you clearly indicate that the "rules based international order" is no longer important - in which case commerce and financial markets suffer. Second you have a foreign power with uncontained further ambition which you will still have to tackle at some point in the future.

It was not perfectly fine, she was a DEI hire that managed to get the nomination by luck and back stabbing. Her speeches were rambling and faltered if the autocue broke down. She couldn't articulate what her policies were and relied upon celebrity endorsements. She offered nothing beyond 'more of the same' and 'not being Trump'.
But no doubt you won't see it like that, you'll continue to wear your blinkers and blame the ignorant masses instead.

I figure there are quite a number of disappointed posters on here today who went to bed last night with the expectation that when they awoke they would be able to come on and gloat about the results but it didn't quite turn out for them they way they had hoped!

I believe that this says more about the way that you think than the way anyone else thinks or acts.

I said in another thread, or two already, that we are all different and the fact that we are different should be celebrated.
What shouldn't be celebrated, or even tolerated, is the name calling or foisting an unproven suspected behaviour onto "others".

This is a decent poster....

Well, I definitely think of you (to the extent that I do at all) as left leaning Robin. Almost horizontal in fact, and you do like to leap in with a bit of Robiny judgement.

As for pronouns, clearly you have not been paying attention. Had you wished to be part of her campaign team you could chose from 9 bizarre pronouns or just pick your own.
Options include "he/him," "she/her," "they/them" "xe/xem," "ze/hir," "ey/em," and "hir/hir" and "Hu/hu". Or you could just float about, by using "Fae/faer".

I suggest that your typical working class or middle class American regards this as absolutely nuts. When asked what she would do to change the clearly senile Biden's policies she reportedly said "nothing". For people concerned about immigration she had a poor record and no credible policy. The truth is she was only VP because of a box ticking exercise at the last election. America is evidently not ready for a black or of colour, female president with no discernible policies, who giggles inanely in response to questions, and who is frequently incomprehensible, hence the often used "word salad" phrase.

Michelle Obama stood a chance and would have been far better, but senile Joe hung on too long, leaving them with the default failure option of Harris. Much of the media were deluded about her chances, but the US people clearly felt she was hopeless. The map of blue versus red is very telling.

As I said, I am not a Trump fan, but frankly the US electorate had little choice. Although I don't know this as fact, I suspect that most red state American citizens have no interest at all in supporting Ukraine or spending hard earned taxes on it. Starmer is hopefully focussed on repairing diplomatic relations that his gofor Lammy has soured.

When one thinks of the mighty USA, size, economy, people and then who stands for election?
How many million people? Are they unable to find someone better more capable?
Harris does not have the balls or charisma to handle the job.
Trump is far past his sell by date, belongs in a retirement village. He is used to running his companies like a dictator and tries to do the same with a country.
A total a-hole.
