Hi Devonwoody,
I remember heavy snow in Devon in the early 60's. I managed to drive to work at Exeter Airport (had an MG TC then
), but I was stuck there for 3 days before I could get out again. Fortunately food and sleeping facilities were available.
PS I worked for the Met. Office at the time
