Bit late with this one Pike 
. Here is a pic of my old shed taken about 2007, the shed was built about 2004.
As you can see I used Wickes shingle and as far as I know they have been fine. I spoke to the person who bought our home about six months ago; he said the shed was fine and dry. I laid the shingles on top on 12 mm OSB and then put cheap felt on top of that. The first line of shingle were nailed down and then the rest were placed on and the Sun did the rest.
