Have had a Basato 3 for about 18 months now. I have never owned any other B’S so I cannot compare with other machines. IMHO:-
On the plus side, it has cut just about anything I threw at it reasonably well. Ash, Iroko, Beech, pine, etc. That was once I got some decent blades from DureEdge. Great having a table that tilts in both directions. Easy to set up and use.
On the down side, I think that the dust extraction is pants.
Make sure that to check the guide bushes after changing blades. But you will know that because you would have read the instructions etc. I didn’t; and ruined the good blade + guide bushes rather quickly.
On balance I’d recommend it, but guess I must be partial to Scheppach stuff from the amount of yellow paint in my workshop.
