Wouldn't think so, Russia has vast reserves of military equipment and soldiers than any other country in the world.
No prisoners costing the Russian taxpayer anything, they're all fighting on the front line or dead. Older equipment has been used as its pretty much good for the type of role its been used for as support.
Ukraine shooting down a few helicopters, sinking a few ships and blowing up some old tanks is literally nothing. The have a lot of high end stuff, equal to the US or China
During the Falklands the UK lost 10 aircraft, and 25 helicopters. 7 ships were lost including 2 frigates and 2 destroyers. All in a 74 day engagement.
We cheer patriotism, but you need to stop kidding yourself. Russia is not some poor middle eastern country. Russia is an extremely dangerous adversary
So pray why have they been unable to dislodge the Ukrainians from Kursk?
Why are they heavily reliant on drones from Iran, and supplies of ammunition, and now troops from N Korea?
If what you say we're actually true then they would have romped across Ukraine in the first place, and the incursion at Kursk would have been counter attacked and eliminated immediately.
Vast amounts of Soviet hardware was sold off after the fall of the Soviet Union, in many cases by their own senior officers, aided and abetted by the troops themselves who often hadn't been paid for months.
In the Putin era it would appear that lining ones pockets was a greater priority than equipment maintainance. So much of their kit is in a right state by all accounts.
They are putting tanks into battle now that really ought to be in a museum.
If you want to see how a genuinely powerful army works then look at how long it took the Germans to overrun Ukraine, and compare that with the miserable performance of the Russians.
All Putin has revealed to the world is that the much vaunted Russian conventional forces are actually a bit of a shambles.
The old Soviet generals like Kruschev must be spinning in their graves.
