Hi Guys
I'm guessing I'm mainly addressing 'guys' as I don't know any women that do woodwork, so hence I'm here to learn!
I hope I'm posting this in the right place, but if not, perhaps someone will let me know??
Anyway, this is my story:
I'm a 54 year old, disabled woman, who would like to learn woodworking. When I say I'm disabled, I have a severe back condition which is VERY unpredictable, and that means that some days I can get out of bed for an hour or two, and other days I can't, but when I do, I'm keen to learn, and would like to make things like cupboards for my kitchen.
I already have some basic hand tools mainly inherited from my dad, and my darling husband bought me a sliding compound mitre saw for Christmas, but I am interested in getting a router, and don't really have much of a clue about how they work, other than what I've learnt online. So, is there any one out there who can tell me in VERY basic terms, what I need to know, and what tool I should buy as a complete beginner?
Thanks people.
