Nothing selective or biased about it Terry, my points were from what I know about him, (listening to him, reading about him etc) since he came to popular attention in 2016 or so. He is what he is.
I suggest you look around a bit more, do some research beneath your bullet points. You may be a fan of the man or admire his views, which is fine.
I don't. I had never heard of him although you obviously have. Just to illustrate that it is dangerous to rely upon media spin which is so often distorted.

Could do the same thing with RFK - his new health supremo. Widely touted as an anti-vaxxer nutter, yet his remit (apparently) is improving diet and exposing poor practices by food and drug companies etc. His kids have all been vaccinated!!

You've never heard of him, looked up a Wiki page about and come to the conclusion that my knowledge and opinion of him is based on "media spin".
Sigh.
Defend the man all you want, Kennedy as well.

The Walmart CFO recently announced the largest U.S. retailer will plan on raising prices for consumer goods due to Donald Trump's economic plan

And yet Trump supporters on here were saying they were terrified by the thought of Kamala Harris

I've been listening to a couple of US economics podcasts and the concensus is that if Tariffs are introduced, the future is pretty bleak for the average Joe.

You might. Many would not. I have no fixed view.
No, not me, I am pointing out what the evidence shows.
It’s not my opinion it’s fact

Here is some information that sheds some light on it:

1) it’s previous chairman was Steve Bannon

2) Robert Mercer, owner of Breitbart bankrolled Trump

3) Robert Mercer is a long-time friend of former UKIP leader Nigel Farage
4) Robert Mercer helped fund vote leave campaign

5) Robert Mercer and his daughter, Rebekah Mercer, have financed and supported a number of organizations and individuals espousing anti-Muslim views

I could post all the links, but suffice it to say that Breitbart / Robert Mercer is part of the deeply connected right that use their power to spread propaganda through lobby groups and money to push political campaigns.

You won’t like it but right wing politicians have the advantage in so called democracy because they are backed by wealth and power, unlike the left who can never compete.

You miss the point - I support neither, but simply illustrating the media are capable of spinning the story any way they want.

Ridicule, conflict, dishonesty etc sells far more column inches and on demand TV subs than the "nothing to see here folks", he's a model of integrity" - which is why the negative dominates.

So I tend to question that which I see to ensure (as far as I reasonably can) that it is balanced and fair.

I was merely pointing out that reliance on established and social media for reliable information is dangerous - we can all selectively pick bits of information to prove pretty much whatever we want.

It therefore makes sense to dig below the superficial spin and form your own conclusion - you clearly have.

I have no bias either way - I did not, nor could I, vote in the US elections. I have no influence over his team selection. He is in charge for the next 4 years - old age permitting. He can do precisely as he wants. We may all have to pick up the pieces if he gets it seriously wrong. Thats reality!

  • Overall, we rate Breitbart Questionable based on extreme right-wing bias, the publication of conspiracy theories and propaganda, as well as numerous false claims.
It's not really arguable if you have the first clue about Breitbart and the people involved and its funders.
