I have had my saws sharpened and repaired by Jakob a good few years ago and they are still going strong in (almost) daily use. At the time we had a good chat via email about the history of the saws I sent across. Please pass on my regards.

Good morning @Rebecca i spent a few very enjoyable hours with Jakob chatting about saws when he repaired & worked on several of my great grandfather's saws a few years ago. The small dovetail saw with A Finch engraved on the brass spine is my favourite family heirloom, particularly now it's usable. Please give him my best wishes, his wonderful skills & Interest inspired me to look & treasure old saws particularly family ones

Thanks Rebecca, thats great. I'll have to arrange another visit with some more work for him next year. Straightening saw plates is beyond my understanding let alone my limited skill level !!!
