Banning Jacob for having different opinions seems over the top to me. Still, its something of a fashion for some to want their "safe space" where ideas other than their own favourites of the moment are banned as just too uncomfortable.

A moderator, no less, called Jacob an "arrogant fool", which seems rather too personal and something for another moderator to consider perhaps. Jacob may be "different" but personally I feel that to be a valuable attribute in places where mutual admiration clubs of like-minded chaps tend to clot up into little mobs of intolerance.

It was a misunderstanding over something I said. Probably my fault for the way I said it!
