Hello
Can I put in a macerator onto a WC with an outlet about 4" above the floor board level and pick up my adjacent shower tray waste about 2" below same floor board level.
The WC and shower are both on a 1st floor level with lower and higher vertical clearance

You might risk filling the shower tray, without seeing the pipe layout, heights and such it is hard to visualise but maybe a proper T piece would be Ok as it would if fitted correctly direct the flow down stream.

You need to look at the installation instructions to check whether 4" above floorboards is adequate clearance - possibly depends on the macerator and whether this is to the bottom of the WC outlet or centre.

I also seem to remember having fitted one many moons ago that the shower tray and basin drained into the macerator by gravity. That being the case if the shower outlet is below floor board level it will flood.

Worth checking!!

Draw a diagram of your proposal and include clear measurements (including pipe diameters).

It is not clear if the WC outlet is 4" above the floor or the macerator outlet is 4" above the floor.

"a WC with an outlet about 4" above the floor", your actual words, is different to "a macerator with an outlet about 4" above the floor". English is tricky sometimes.

Nor is it obvious whether the shower will discharge into the inlet of the macerator or whether the shower outlet is downstream of the macerator outlet.

Pipe diameters are important. Shower traps with non-return valves are available. A non-return valve on the shower discharge could also be a possibility (and there are different ones for horizontal and vertical application), but it risks being blocked with hair so needs to be accessible.
