two days ago I started a second intarsia project this time it is a unicorn but as I do not have a very light wood its going to be a walnut body tulip wood tail and main and maybe an ebony horn I swore blind I was never going to do intarsia again but the fitter in me says I can do better - I used to build turbines - as I have other projects on the go it may take a while to get posted

I have also purchased a Mozambique 5 kg bag of wood from stiles and bates no taboti or leadwood maybe next time very good value for money and I suspect some interesting colours of wood when I finally get into doing something with them

As I'm sure you know that there are many many ways of reducing picture file sizes (both file size itself, also pixel count, overall picture dimensions, and compression/no compression).

I'm by no means a PC expert but if you have MS Office or any other MS suite with Microsoft Office Picture Manager included, send me a PM and I'll send you back full set by step instructions on how to reduce pix files for posting on here. It's not the best way (apparently) but it's VERY quick and VERY easy and if you have the above then you don't even have to download, learn, or manage a new program (and it's even not free, you already have it).

Everybody loves pix here.
