I think Mag switches are highly regarded and expensive.
 
I have used them for getting on for a year now and have stood up well to life in a pro shop. It gets most use on the planer for squaring stock.

The newer versions seem to be improved with options to add featherboards to the standard piece and are now available in a nice shade of yellow.

They are pretty expensive considering you can make one from scrap for next to nothing. The main selling point for me is the ease of setting up which is a matter of seconds.

Magswitches are great, much cheaper if you buy them in the pre-manufactured feather boards. Obviously they only work on steel machines so that kitchen worktop extension to your tablesaw that houses the router isn't going to be any great partner to it, bum.
