This actually happened and is I think amusing for all the wrong reasons -
After watching the YT recordings of the Horizon Inquiry I went into my local Waterstones to buy the Nick Wallis book 'The Great Post Office Scandal' having checked online that they had a copy in stock and I searched high and low but could not find a copy, so I went to a till and asked an assistant 'In what section would the book be located? The assistant looked up on their till system and said 'You should find it in the Politics section'.
I replied 'Well I didn't look there - I thought perhaps it would be categorised as Crime or perhaps Comedy...'
I asked the lady for two Cod and chips with plenty of salt and vinegar. She said, "This is a library, sir." I apologised and whispered, "Can I have two Cod and chips with plenty of salt and vinegar".
