I have just purchased some planed oak and walnut from here. I have had some before, so am confident that it will be some nice timber when it arrives.

The oak is for a garden rose support, similar in form to http://www.roominthegarden.co.uk/cat/po ... &ProdID=12 and was cheaper than me buying wayney edged sawn timber and machining it up. The only wastage I will get is if the lengths don't quite work out to my plans, but there will be no wain to cut off, no kerf to account for on the width etc.

The walnut is for stock, and will probably get used for some lippings on boxes.

The main reason for posting is twofold- if anybody needs pen or spindle blanks then they may find these oak and walnut squares useful, and if anybody wants some and is not local, i can pick it up when I collect mine and bung it on a courier.

Hi

That is good - worth the detour next time I'm passing. Shame the squares are limited to 44mm.

Thanks Mick
