Well I know it's only Tinternet but a google of "twin tenon" shows this as hit #1:

The mid rail in his example is both twin (by my terms) and double (again, by my terms). It's also, of course, double by Ellis (according to Roger's ref).
I wonder if this is one of those planer/thicknesser/jointer/planer merry-go-rounds?
