These are presents for members of an art group in Torquay.

In the meantime I have been involved with builders who are are doing this and they have had a few as well.

Not used yet, I took the bark off a while ago and I think it wants to settle down again..

The plasterers arrived a few minutes ago and left again, they dont like the look of the weather.

No progress on boxes yesterday, I waited in for the builders and because of weather conditions they arrived at 15.30 hours but did not leave until 22.00 hours, Yes 10pm. they stayed until all render was set and polished. They used mobile lighting and motor vehicle headlights. Remarkable in this day and age to find such response to customer satisfaction.

Added another three boxes, (the tea ladies), the black walnut I went to use had got a check in the timber which appeared after bw had been prepared to size and I had to cut out and hence insert a contrast strip to maintain size, involved a few hours extra work.

In the meantime that wall render is drying out nicely, but weather has prevented those window seals etc.

Should now read ten boxes.

I am taking them to our art group as surprise presents for our members and tea ladies.

In the meantime I got this job finished last evening (the painting) after a week of gales and bad weather.

John, that end wall looks rather a Blank Canvas, sure you can't conjure up a riviera vista or similar
