just wondered who needed to stamp a very large bear!

A person who carves very large wooden bears? A chainsaw bear-carver? I've seen larger than life size chain-saw carved owls and wolves, but I must admit, never a bear... :lol:

From Gazes auction in Diss. I got 2 stamp sets (in different sizes) a rather nice, complex and rare slide rule, and a cased Vernier micromoter reading in 1/10 thou by Moore & Wright.

Mind you, it cost me 15 quid + commission.

Jimi will have to get up earlier than usual to get these at a car boot!

You certainly don't want to buy these at "retail"

Which did this...

but last week I dropped it off my bench and the end has clean snapped off. £60 down the drain. So I'm looking at stamping using metal stamps or signing with a pen.

Can't you get it braised back on?..oh..was it fixed into a soldering/pyrography iron ?
