Hi all,
https://www.cyclaireshop.co.uk/yosh...g-set-dark-brown-wood-handle?search=japanese
My good lady would like to buy me this, or similar, collection of Carving tools. Now I have never used, or even handled, tools with this style of handle. Do any of you have any experience of this style. If so would you like to comment please.
Is there perhaps a better(?) manufacturer to look at?
I have dealt with Cyclaire before, and find them to be reliable and easy to do business with, so no qualms there.
thanks,
geoff

I recognise those tools. I used them in art class at school to cut lino for printing. No, they are not generally woodworking stuff except at the smallest sizes of artwork.
