Someone near me is selling large amount of 15mm engineered oak floor (4mm wear layer) for under £3/sqm.
With all the other works going on at the moment If I could save considerable amount getting such flooring and re-finishing it myself that would go a very long way putting that money somewhere else in the house refurb.
But wondering if it would be worth the hassle to do so? In this instance the flooring isn't anything special since it's one of those jointed together from small fingers but still at least it's wood.
I do not have a planer thicknesser through which I could feed it, but I have Mirka deros sander which is rather fast at removing stock.

Anyone has done something like this before just with a regular sander, how did it go? Was it worth the hassle?

some of the worst pics ( could maybe just bin those parts)

ok in this example the flooring is a cheapo one so I'm really not sure if I should get it, it was just cheap and loads of it. thats all :D
But in general if you were to get some nice one would it be worth it to do so?

Can't say whether its worth it to you or not but I would lay it all and refinish with a floor sander. I wouldn't use a PT as it would probably need floor sanding and finishing anyway. Was it layed as a floating floor before? Otherwise you will also need to contend with however it was fixed before. If it goes together OK and the tongues and edges aren't damaged it should be OK.
