Here's my first attempt at using B/BB birch ply during the Spring lockdown. I used hard maple for a 7mm edge lipping in places.
The corners are mitred. all cutting to size and the mitres were cut using a Festool tracksaw. I have a sacrificial top support surface that pulls out to support an 1220x2240 as supplied by Dino from Eurekazone - sadly now defunct - that mounts on a DeWalt cross-cut saw support legs.
As each cabinet is 1.7m long instead of buying lots of clamps I invested in a Lamello Zeta P2 and used their Tenso connectors on the mitre to hold whilst glueing. It was a dream.
Photos are two of finished cabinets and one when 'work in progress'.
Why does this site's editor dictionary use American spellings? The editor complained over 'glueing' 'mitre' and 'lipping' Angie Please fix it!!
