    Does the window have a trickle vent, warm damp air you are producing can vent and dryer air will replace it , double glassing also helps the glass being at a higher temperature not at the due point but ventilation is the most effective.

    Glue sheets together do not fit tight to walls to stop bowing, fix with good annular nails and screw near to doorways .Consider insulating between joists.

    Yes . the jet with legs was cheaper the latest is fully panelled its a good table saw and i do not think you will have to move it very far to use the table.

    Buying tools is addictive you were thinking of spending £770 you could have the table saw for £610 leaving £160 and a triton table towards your initial choice of bandsaw (£260) and no more sawing issues.

    The sawn surface from a bandsaw needs quite a lot of smoothing out and they are useful for deep cuts and curved work . Have you considered a table saw you will get a good cut surface and the table aids work on long timbers the AW 10BSB2 just got a good review on this forum.

    There is only one way to deal with poor quality send it back for a full refund it costs the company money and they will sort the problem in time and this will provide you with a opportunity to solve your requirement a different way addressing any vibration problems etc .

    Wood and water not a good combination for life of the wood.     I have been through this and i recommend pcl much more robust its easy to sort out as both types use 1/4 bsp threads so you can choose the fittings you need from diagrams etc.

    I have the opposite opinion to lord nibbo using the axminster nailer with manual oiling i got a lot of jams but after the auto oiler very few indeed and toolstation oil is cheaper.
