My nephew is planning on taking a one-year boat building course starting in just under a years time. The course is mainly about wooden boats but will cover other forms of construction as well. He has no experience of woodworking, which is OK with the course, but they say that if he does get some practice before he starts, he will get more out of the course.
I do very little hand tool work, and have very rudimentary skills in this area, and am certainly not in any position to teach him. So I was thinking that what he might do is to follow a free Youtube introductory woodworking course and use my workshop (& possibly some tools) to practice.
The purpose of this post is to get advice on which specific Youtube videos you would recommend for this purpose.
