An easy tutorial for running two programs on the same screen monitor at the same time.

I wonder if it will work for 4 programs?

I like to use full screen but I do jump between programs I have often wondered about running a second monitor especially when image editing and building my online shop.

I recently bought a new 19" flat widescreen monitor and when I got it home it was so good I went back the next day and got another. Image editing, especially video editing is a gazillion times easier.

A lot of faff when all you need to do is minimise any windows you don't want tiled, then right-click on the taskbar and click 'Tile Windows Vertically'. (Or horizontally, if you prefer).

I use dual monitors at work and generally run stuff full screen under Windoze and just alt-tab between windows.

Under Linux I just have as many desktops as I want

Steve - bear in mind that you can't run dual monitors with all graphics cards, but if you can it's great for certain purposes - video editing and software or web development being good examples.
