I picked up these three planes couple of weeks ago, they were no money at £15.00 for three, and I didn’t want to go home empty handed so here they are.
I thought the molding planes unusually short especially the 7”. Anyone know if they were for a particular task?
The 8” one has a much heavier gauge cutter then usually found on molding planes.
The coffin plane was on the same table, didn’t want to leave it on its own so it came home too, it has a Nottingham makers mark, although I can’t quite make it the name ?
I’ve done nothing to them, all three clean, moulders appear little worn, although I did run the 7” one along some board to see how such a small plane performed with my improving abilities with woodies.
