Like the inside of the fridge with the door closed ?

Andrew

Are you trying to tell us that you've been on the inside of a fridge? Is this some childhood experience you want to share with us? (I was once locked in a chest freezer by my older brother when I was very young - can never look at a freezer the same way now)

Well, it's pretty dark. :D

I go caving and when you get far enough underground, there is total darkness. If you turn off your light, it will be one of the few times that you can experience a total absence of light. And in the right cave you can also get total silence, a complete absence of any manmade noise. Freaks out some people, I find it really relaxing.

I was in one of the last groups of people to go through the Dudley Canal Tunnel before it was closed. Half way through they turned off the lights. Dark, you couldn't see your hand put in front of your face. Now that's dark.

My wife and kids once took a holiday on a farm near Helston, I think that's in another country :) , went to visit them and left the farmhouse at midnight, couldn't see my hands in front of my face, definitely scary for a London boy.

Probably Waka polishing away...........

I refuse to play, how can you purposely go out of your way to hurt a sensitive pensioner.

Now where's me polishing cloth.

Too much flippin' light even here in the sticks, but I will shortly nip out to have a gander at the lunar eclipse (which is why I'm posting at such an unusual hour). Some mistiness though :(

Cheers, Alf

Who can confirm Helston is in another country - even another country from this one IMO...

The trouble with getting independence is you have to band together in the first place to have a hope of attaining it. Cornwall is a nation of individuals. Never mind:
