Yesterday I was subjected to a tirade of attacks and ridicule from left wingers for simply having a differing perspective over certain matters. That is how left wingers work when they don't have valid arguments that can persuade those they are debating with to shift their perspective.

Now I'm enjoying watching the bigots receiving a dose of their own medicine. (y)
Of course Tony. I'll watch and learn from you ;)

Good morning Tony. Did we get out of bed on the wrong side again? Give us a kiss 💋.

Despite apparently having a brain less than the size of a ferret, I'm going to give Starmer a little longer than the scant few months he's had in office before I make a judgement. He's got a bit of a mess to clear up first.
Oi! Don't knock ferrets; they're really quite smart. Ask your local chickens . . . . .

Of more concern, given the vindictiveness of Trump, the UK under Starmer and his bunch is badly positioned to continue the special relationship - after Labour activists campaigning for Harris and David Lamy shooting his mouth off.

Time for Labour to get Lord Ali to fork out for a sword for Lammy to fall on.
Yes, this is a serious problem for UK diplomacy as Lammy was a buffoon for slagging off Trump on numerous occasions on video. He will not be welcome as Foreign Secretary and Starmer is going to need to try to get Trump onside, having naively backed Harris. Why take sides when the outcome is unknown?

And we're off... another thread all about ey_tony 🙄
Look on the bright side; we can spend the next 4 years watching Tony tell us why Trump's doing an awesome job battling "lefties" (thinking back to the constant circus of scandals and personnel changes from his previous term).

Anyway, I can't afford a ticket to go to the Capitol building, so I'm going to riot at my local Tesco. Got to keep Tony happy with his riot predictions and all that.

The final result shows that America truly is the land of opportunity, when a liar and convicted felon can become the president. I can't see how they still call it the united states though, I don't think it has been so divided in modern times.

To be honest I think the guy is an absolute nutter but he's simply better than what was on offer and I can see him calming the conflicts in Ukraine and Gaza so as far as I'm concerned and being a pragmatist, he's the best man for the job even if he is many of the things he's accused of being.

I seem to be the target for the left...why should that be?
Oh come on mate, I'm sure I'm not the only one who's isn't just a tad fed up with your derailing every thread with diatribes against any one who doesn't share your particular political view. Today we're morons. Or are you just trolling?

I think we have had many liars in the highest office and the guidance doesn't seem to disqualify anyone for being a convicted felon unless it was an 'intimidatory criminal offence motivated by hostility towards a candidate, future candidate or campaigner or holder of a relevant elective office'.

I think it is more because he's the only one that stayed put and stood up to the left wing pile-on that inevitably happens whenever anyone goes against the liberal elite's views.

Harris would have been more of the same; for which I can perfectly understand wasn't attractive to many Americans. A populist who promises the world will certainly get interest; even if he (as they always are) is just smooth talking conmen.

The problem with Trump is that he's not (just) a smooth talking conman; he's a massive narcissist who doesn't care about anyone other than himself, and surrounds himself with untalented sycophants.

He may well calm the Ukraine and Gaza conflicts, but that's likely only to happen by him supporting Putin and Netanyahu, because they'll be smart enough to manipulate him by appealing to his vanity.

Isn't the problem that no-one can put forward a single policy of hers. Period.
Not true, there are plenty of clear policies.

have you not heard Kamala Harris would make women’s healthcare their choice?

whereas Trump flip flops between a national abortion ban and something else not clear.

Harris has clear policies on healthcare
Trump has “a concept of a plan”

Given that Trump has won, you can spend the next 4 years doubling down on the lies, the corruption.
Enjoy.

Starmer back here, both bullies and habitual liars
Starmer is neither a liar nor a bully.

If you think there is any equivalence between Starmer, a former human rights lawyer and Trump who demonises foreigners you need to have a long hard think
