Up all night playing GTA5?

Personally I find games whose sole premise is the maiming and killing of as many innocent people as possible abhorrent. It dehumanises us and desensitises so that, for some, there is a blurring betweem the game and real life.

I do so agree!

I think it must do harm to the players but I'm told by "experts" that it doesn't affect people at all, they're not influenced by constant exposure to this rubbish. How come advertisements, using similar principals, work then? Or are are all the advertisers wasting their money?

I'm with you two on this - Totally accept that games can be absorbing and fun, (I just happen not to get a buzz from them), but I find games that encourage deeply offensive behaviour and misogyny, etc, deeply disturbing.

Anyway, back to reality....
