I've been scouring Ebay for Mitre Planes and came across a beautiful wooden Mitre plane stamped with P A A Anderson. Does anyone have any experience with them?
I believe theyare not vintage but modern planes from Scotland.Cant say I have heard of Anderson planes but a quick search showed this.

There is always the chance that the owner put his stamp on it.

His wooden planes do look great and are reasonably priced, Note, the Wayne Anderson in the USA makes metal planes, whereas our man in Greenock is a woodworker. My reservation with wooden mitre planes is the 1/4 " or so plane side rather than the 1/16" on metal bodies. Do you go to the tool auctions just south of Derby?I've been scouring Ebay for Mitre Planes and came across a beautiful wooden Mitre plane stamped with P A A Anderson. Does anyone have any experience with them?
