I've yet to understand how a tv can cause enough interference to affect lines entering buildings underground or from telegraph poles.

I saw the item yesterday, and the bloke next door said the problem was still there when the (apparently) problem TV was turned off. They also showed lots of BT workers installing fibre optic cable. Another slow news day.

My old man was an amateur repair man who fixed the tvs and radios for everyone in the village, he had a huge chest of drawers full of parts, I saved these as a memento when he died 20 years ago.
