Is that a complete collet, or a reduction sleeve, please? If it's a complete collet, part number and ordering source will be appreciated.

It is a collet, the 1/4" I had to get as a reducer, but the 8mm is a true collet - OR so I remember!

The parts list is there and unfortunately that only lists the reduction sleeve, part 956-759 CHUCK SLEEVE 1/2"X8"
but, well, I wonder if the Finnish version of it is different from the US version they have there...

Yep, the country variants are very different - even parts lists...
The North european manual is here:

and on page 30, they list part 505-1 aka 325-212 8mm collet.
That 325-212 should yield you the right part via any Hitachi dealer.
