In case anybody interested doesn't already know, Tony Murland of antiquetools.co.uk has an auction on Wednesday, 3rd August, 2005, at The Cedars Hotel, Stowmarket, Suffolk. Sale starts 9.30 am, entrance to the sale by catalogue only (catalogue seems to cost just 20 quid!). Viewing the previous day, presumably free.
1328 lots, with guide prices ranging from £20 to £25,000. :shock: :roll: Lots include antique and useable woodworking and engineering tools, including trade tools from coopers, joiners, cabinetmakers, coachmakers, shipwrights, wheelwrights, violinmakers, patternmakers and carvers. Absentee bids can be submitted up to 2nd August.
