Toolbar help...

I know there's lots of PC boffins about (me not included ) so hopefully someone can tell me how my sister can get her main toolbar back on her laptop. On start up there's nowt there apart from desktop icons. It's driving her nuts! :shock:

I guess that she has turned on auto hide.
If the mouse pointer is moved to the edge of the screen where the task bar is, it will slide out from the edge of the screen. Right click it, select properties on the pop up menu and uncheck the auto hide box. That should fix it.

She hasn't accidentally dragged it 'under' the screen has she? If so, by putting the cursor at the bottom of the screen then clicking and holding she should be able to drag it back up.
