No, not some Dickensian novel.
The other evening I asked Chronos Tools if they held a particular spare part. I used their website auto-enquire form.
The next morning, I got their response, "No. Sorry".
Fair enough. At least they responded.
They apparently use a system called "tawk-to" to gather their enquiries, and to reply accordingly. Replies come in the form of a quarter-screen, top-left hand window on your computer's desktop....

Flitted on to something else online a few hours later, only to see "No. Sorry" from Chronos again.
I know. I saw it earlier.
Transpires every time I access the internet do I see "No. Sorry" every bloody time!

How to get rid of "Tawk-to"?
Looked it up, and found that you have to enter your Tawk-to account (which I haven't got) and do this, that and the other within settings.
OK, so has it installed something in my browser? (Brave, in this case)

Nothing obvious. Checked Settings, Privacy and Extensions and couldn't find anything.
So how?

I will post this thread in a few seconds, before Chronos tells me that they haven't the spare I'm after, and that they're sorry.

It's bloody infuriating....
