Soldering question...

Has anyone mentioned silver loaded - and therefore conductive - epoxy? Thus no issues re soldering. A small pack is not cheap though.

I’ve managed to solder headphone and speaker wires in the past by flicking a lighter flame over the end. Any coatings burn off, and you can scrape it clean, flux and tin it. They are quite delicate so be careful.

You can also just hold the end of the wire on a 3-5mm chisel bit on the soldering iron and the coating burns off as you tin it.
