Hi folks new to this game,i recently bought a sips 16" scroll saw,had a lot of breaking blades cutting out coins to make jewelery im now into wood not breaking blades as much just five a day ha ha.what im trying to find out is it possible to fit a foot pedal to this make of saw,if so dose anyone know where to get one and how to fit. would it be a simple job or not. as im a bricklayer not a electrician.thanks this is a wicked site.thanks.

If you're going to put a foot switch on the saw it will need wiring in after the NVR switch if it has one, you also it needs to be push to make, non latching. I have a Draper one but it's an old one, not sure if it's still available. Look on ebay or electrical suppliers. here's just one example. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AC-250V-15A-M ... 2466075838
happy scrolling
