Hi all
Desperation post. I'm a novice with tablesaws. A part has come off and I don't know what it is or where it goes. Am not going to turn it back on until I understand what it is, put it back on and made sure it's 100% safe.

Can someone with experienced eyes have a look at the pictures I've added and see if they recognise what it is and where it goes?

Thank you so much for helping me sort this safely

All the best and happy new year

Kyle

Hello and welcome to the forum. Have you tried looking in the manual? There maybe an exploded diagram that could point you in the right direction. Alternatively, google the part number of the saw and you might find it there.

You guys are all fantastic thank you. I had the manual but I think it gives me some confidence having your experience. I'm going to have a session getting it all nice and checked tomorrow.

Thanks again all, really (really!) appreciate it

No worries mate.

You probably loosened the throat (insert) plate locking screw too much and the bracket fell down. Keep in mind, it only takes a quarter turn to loosen and tighten.

Happy new year...
