I got a Ryobi circular saw to use with my Kreg rip-cut.
Ryobi R18CS7-0 One+ 18V.
Installed 60T Diablo 184 MM blade.
I might be doing something wrong, but If I am, I don't know what.
Problem is that the saw will not set up square at 90Deg.
The base plate of the saw will not go physically any further to get the darn thing square, it's not the adjusting screw
It's as if the saw has not been assembled correctly.

I messaged the seller about it regarding return.
Is this a known problem on these saws?

I am disappointed in this, I have some ply to cut :(

I don't see how to post a pic here or I would do.

Your problem is not one I’ve come across before. Saying that I’ve not used a kreg jig . I always use a straight edge or a track saw.. other members may be able to assist you further.

It's not the Kreg, I have not fitted that yet. It's the saw itself.
It looks a lot like that plastic tab on the body is in the way, and as if the body itself is incorrectly fitted.
The grub screw is fully out at this position.
