With reference to the cable trunking you intend to lay, I strongly recommend using 100mm, I use it on my industrial estate, and we run armour cables etc up it to power other units etc, our longest run is 150m and that works fine with a drawrope.
We also run cat5e cable for ethernet, low voltage for cctv etc.
I will be adding this little 'upgrade' to my new workshop build.
Also one VERY important note - take it from my experience - you MUST seal each end of your trunking to be vermin proof. I had rats running through mine, munching my cctv feed wires in the process, was a very costly and time consuming task to replace. The easiest way is to stuff something in there or, as i have done build a small wooden box with a door in which to terminate te trunking in, keeps things dry and the blooming rats and mice out!
